Rotain Winchester Crain 46, of Waco Texas Passed on June 4, 2023. Services will be at the OakCrest Funeral Home, at 4520 Bosque Boulevard Waco TX. The Wake will be on Thursday, June 8 th from 9 am-2 pm.
The Rosary will be Thursday, June 8 th from 2 pm-3 pm. Funeral Service will be on Friday, June 9th from 10 – 11 am, with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery at 1 pm. We will celebrate his life later with Repass at 6751 Logue Ln. Waco, TX 76708 at 6 pm with a potluck dinner. Please bring chairs.
Rotain was born on April 11, 1977, in Waco, Texas to his parents. 1977 is known as the year of the snake, full of wisdom, confidence, and creativity. He graduated from Connally High School where he gained many friends and achieved many awards. After graduation, he pursued his craft of customizing automobiles and creating art from rust. While working in the automotive industry, he touched many hearts and was loved and liked all around.
At a young age, he enjoyed all sports, football being his favorite, and playing outside with his siblings and cousins. He was the proud owner of Christine, his 1967 Chevy Truck.
During his high school years, he met the love of his life, Rachel Ann Crain. They married and had 2 children, Rotain and Deja Crain.
Rotain was a very hard-working man he was like "MacGyver" and a "Jack of all trades" He loved many and was loved by many more, he will forever be ingrained in our hearts and souls never to be forgotten.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rachel Ann Crain, Grandparents Vivian and George Dimerson Sr, and many other relatives.
He is survived by his Parents, Rotain Doc Crain and Esther Jewel Crain; Son, Rotain Robert Lee Crain; Daughter, Deja Annesta Crain; Father-in-Law, Robert Cervantes; Mother-in-Law, Ascension Cervantes; Siblings, Rotane and his wife, Lana, Vivian and her Husband Will, Romain and his wife Sarah, Rodain and his wife JeanEtta, and Roman and his wife Jessica. And an uncountable number of family, friends, co-workers, and customers.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Hillcrest Hospital, especially Jenn Hudson RN, and Dr. Elieson, who took care of him during his last moments. Oakcrest Funeral Home, especially Travis, and Margaret, for being patient and kind during these difficult times.
