Roy Lee Leach
May 5, 1946 to June 11, 2009


Roy Lee Leach, 63, of Waco, passed away June 11, 2009 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 14 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., with Bert Mercer officiating. A Memorial Video honoring his life will be shown during the service.

Roy was born May 5, 1946 in San Saba, and was married December 3, 1965 in Lometa to Nelda Brooks.

A jack of all trades, Roy has been a forklift operator for the construction industry. Roy liked working with mechanical things, and during his free time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Willie Kelly, and a son, Chris Eric Kelly, in 2007.

He is survived by his wife, Nelda; son, Charles Kelly; 11 grandchildren, Richard, Joshua, Jay, Joe, Charles, Trey, Zachary, Zoe, Alysa, Christine, and Christina; four great-grandchildren, Eric, Rowan, Kaleb, and Chris; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Lusty, Ed Lusty Sr., Ed Lusty Jr., Gary Leach Sr., Gary Leach Jr., Charles Drew, David Drew, and Colter Snipes.
