Rubin Mendoza

Rubin Mendoza, born in Gatesville, Texas to John and Febe Mendoza, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Waco surrounded by his loving family. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 12, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco with his brother, Joe Mendoza and wife, Susanna officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, at OakCrest Funeral Home.

As a younger man Rubin loved to play pool and dominoes. He loved watching western movies and hanging out with his family and friends.

Rubin was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Lydia Mendoza, brother, Daniel Mendoza, and nephew, Frankie Lozano.

He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Marie Pullen and husband Taurean; four loving grandchildren, AJ and wife Kristen, Rai Rai, Audri, and Jaron; two great-grandchildren. He also left to cherish his memory brothers, John “Cory” Mendoza, Randall Mendoza, Gilbert Mendoza, Joe Mendoza, Mark Gonzalez, Martin Gonzalez and Leon DeLeon; sisters, Josie Martinez, Rosie England, Darlene Munoz and Yolanda Gomez; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; numerous nephews; and nieces and great nephews and great nieces.
