Ruby Laverne Nickels 71, of Waco passed away Monday, November 24, 2008. Services will be Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at the OakCrest funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Ruby was born March 10, 1937 in Corsicana, Tx., to Quincy B. and Mary Jane Smith Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Ruby is survived by her son, Edward Wilks and wife Toni of Waco; daughter, Joahna Lovett of Waco; brother, Robert Jackson of East Tx; sisters, Pearlie Mae Berry of Corsicana and Joyce Birdwell of Garland; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to The American Heart Association.
