On the evening of Monday, August 13, the world lost one of its favorite people. Sally Ann Yarbray was full of fun and laughter and for those who knew her, she will be sorely missed. Memorial service will be 2 pm on Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel, 4520 Bosque Blvd. with Carrol Hambrick officiating.
She was a loving wife and a loving mother. Very important in her life was her family and friends.
Either, excitement followed her or she followed excitement because wherever Sally was, that was the fun place to be. She was a bartender and manager at the COUNTY LINE in Grand Prairie for 18 years and knew just about everyone in Grand Prairie. She never lived in a neighborhood that she did not know the neighbors or they did not know her.
All throughout her life, if anyone needed help, they knew if they came to Sally, she would help if she could, be it a place to stay or a hot meal.
To Sally's friends, she was fun, loving, caring and always lent an ear or had a shoulder to cry on, (or found a way to make you laugh).
To Sally's family, we will miss her laugh, her smile, her dancing and her opinions. We will miss her great cooking, her advise and her shoulder to cry on.
God will be glad to see her. She will either make him laugh or try to take over. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hermon and Hazel Oats.
Sally is survived by her brother and his wife, Ed Ray Oats and Sadie Smith; her beloved, Floyd (Buddy) Gentry; sons, James Michael Fouse and wife Melanie and younger son, Herman Fouse and ex-wife Vickie White; six grandchildren, Brian Keith Linebaugh, Kassandra, James (Duner) Jr., Chelsea Fouse, Herman Jr., Latricia and Jesse Fouse.
