Sammy Ray LaPoint, 52 of Plano (long time resident of Waco) passed away peacefully at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 pm Tuesday January 23, at Oakwood Cemetery.
Sammy was born on July 3, 1954 in Waco to Pete and Lucy LaPoint. He was a very giving person and loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends. Sammy lived and worked in Toledo Ohio, Dallas and Waco.
Sammy is survived by his children, Tricia Sisneroz, Vanessa LaPoint, Alma Rose Lewis; brothers and sisters, Rebbeca Fly, Steven LaPoint, Alma Barnes, Michael LaPoint, Debbie LaPoint, Jennie Huntzinger and Jody Resendez; and five grandchildren.
