Sandra Ramon, age 59, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, at Providence Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 23, 1966 in Dallas, Texas to Adela Martinez Gonzales and Claudio Ramon. Sandra truly lived life to the fullest, and will always be remembered for her contagious laughter, the joy she brought to others and her love for her family and the Dallas Cowboys.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Claudio Ramon; maternal grandparents, Rufus and Alice (Alcantar) Martinez; and her paternal grandparents, Jose and Esther Ramon.
She is survived by her mother, Adela (Martinez) Gonzales; daughters, Sandi (Montoya) Pevia and husband, Hector, and Mandi Montoya and husband, Edward Garcia, Sr., and their father, Greg Montoya; grandchildren, Efrain Trejo, III., Madison Pevia, Caleb Pevia, Ayiana Montoya, Jazmin Garcia, Jayla Garcia, and Edward Garcia, Jr.; brothers, Ruben Ramon and wife, Dianne, and Richard Ramon; sisters, Rachel (Ramon) Griffin and Amy (Ramon) Lopez and husband, Vincent; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many friends who were truly impacted by her presence.
The family would like to thank the staff at Providence Hospital and Providence Hospice, especially nurses Michael and Veronica, who took care of us during the night.
