Sharon Lee Neighbors, 67, of Waco, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2010 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Brad St. Romain and The Rev. Andrea Polvino officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Sharon was born January 31, 1943 in Richmond, California. She married Gary Neighbors in 1964 at Connally A.F.B. in Waco. After a long career in the US Air Force, Gary and Sharon retired to Waco in 1984. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. L. Enloe; her husband of 39 years, Gary Neighbors; and her nephew, Jeff Obenoskey.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Yeulalo Mauldin and her husband, Howard; two sons, Brent Neighbors and wife, Lori and Todd Neighbors; sister, Mary Obenoskey and brother-in-law, Buddy Obenoskey; grandchildren, Zach, Jake, Ben, Taylor and Kennedy Neighbors; nephews, Darren Obenoskey and wife, Laura and Craig Obenoskey and wife, Kim; niece, Jana Obenoskey; and a host of great nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
