Sharon White-Tackett

Sharon White-Tackett, 47, of Waco, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2011 in Temple. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Visitation with Sharon's family will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.

Sharon was born July 18, 1964 in Waco to Sherman Lee White and Bonnie Sue Ewing White. Sharon graduated from Richfield High School in 1982. She worked for Payless Cashways, EMSI and the Dwyer Group and at the time of her death, she was currently employed at Source Access in Waco. Sharon was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church and was a member of the Bell Choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ben Ricky Tackett of Waco; her brother, Sherman White and wife, Roxanne of McKinney; sister by choice, Christy Coleman of Waco; her godchildren, Candice Jones and Travis Hope; niece, Tessa White and nephew, Mason White both of McKinney; her step mother, Suzanne Reece of Waco; and several other family members and cousins.
