Sharon Winkler, 53, of Waco, passed away May 28, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday, June 1, at St. Louis Catholic Church.

Burial will be at St. Martin’s Cemetery at Tours. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, May 31, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

The rosary will be recited prior to the mass.

Sharon was born in Sinton, and worked in the film industry in Los Angeles, Calif. for several years before moving to Waco.

She attended culinary school in Scottsdale, Ariz., and also was a talented food stylist for several magazines in Dallas.

Sharon had many friends who loved her dearly and will miss her greatly.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Chris Winkler.

She is survived by her mother, Lena Winkler; sister, Sandra Oxner and husband, Jerry; nephew, Gary Oxner and wife, Michelle; and great-nephew, Zachery Oxner.
