Sherman White
Sherman L. White, 70, passed away Friday, September 10, 2010 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, September 13 at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Shelton Markham officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, September 12, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Mr. White was born February 4, 1940 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Leonard W. White and Margaret Graham White. He served in the US Army. Mr. White was a long time member of Western Heights Baptist Church. He was a building contractor and retired from Lowe's in 2009.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Sue White.
Mr. White is survived by his fiancé, Suzanne Reece; daughter, Sharon White and fiancé, Ben Tackett; son, Sherman E. White and wife, Roxanne; sister, Christine Currington; brothers, Curtis White and wife, Trea and Bill White and wife, Mary; and grandchildren, Mason and Tessa White.
