Mrs. Shirley Ann Martin was born to Cora Lee Scott and Albert Manago on June 26, 1949 in Waco, Texas.
Shirley graduated high school in 1967, she later attended McLennan Community College where she obtained her Certified Nursing Aid Certification and Cosmetology Certification. Shirley worked out of her home and at group homes doing hair for many years. She also worked at Pilgrim's Pride.
Shirley loved spending time with her loved ones, helping people, dressing up, dancing, and cooking. She was famous for her cornbread dressing and homemade pecan pies.
Shirley was preceded in death by both her parents; her son Marvin Lee Dickerson; and her sister Yvette Brandon.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her husband for over 55 years, Jerry Martin; her four children, Ira Dickerson, Jr., Annette Alabi, Yolanda West and husband, Aldrick, and La Keith Dickerson; her nephew Michael Thompson; two brothers, Albert Manago and Alonzo Manago; 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends she loved dearly.
Pallbearers are Ira Dickerson, Jr., La Keith Dickerson, Duntreal Martin, Cartmaine Phillips III, Roderick D. Scott, and Jeramy Hayes.
Honorary Pallbearers are Aldrick West, Kevin Scott, Russell Williams-Pey, Alonzo Manago, Jr., and Reginal Shotnel.

Perhaps you prayed a sincere prayer, or came to pay a call. Perhaps you sang a cheerful song, if so we heard it all. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words, as any could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day. Perhaps you prepared some tasty dish, whatever you did to console our hearts we the family express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who supported us during this difficulty time. Your kindness has been a great source of strength to us. May GOD continue to richly bless each of you for your various expression of love.
