Sophie Abdnor Hage, 92, of Waco, passed away Monday, August 6, 2007. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Thursday, August 9. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during the visitation.
She was born January 28, 1915 in Waco to Deeb and Emily (Kazan) Abdnor. She was a retired L.V.N. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pete Hage, on August 27, 1976.
She is survived by three daughters, Carol Janet Stallings of Frisco, Joyce Anne Goodman and husband Frank of Austin, and Laurie W. Rogers and husband Johnny of Austin; a son, Joseph Michael Hage of Austin; three granddaughters, Christine Hoza of Frisco, Alexis Hage of Taylor, and Melissa Rogers of Austin; two grandsons, David Goodman and Chad Rogers, both of Austin; and a great-grandson, Hayden Rogers of Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Claude Hoff, Mark Hoza, Mario Ortega, David Ray Thompson, Herbert Brown, and Frank Goodman.
