Sotero Zepeda

Sotero Zepeda Acuna, 62, passed away Tuesday September 28, 2021. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Friday, October 8, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Very Rev. Benjamin Magnaye as Celebrant. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Sotero was born April 22, 1959 in El Rejalgar Arroyo Seco, Querétaro, Mexico to Santiago Zepeda Zuniga and Angela Acuña Marin. He was a happy soul, loving and welcoming anyone who came into his life. Family and friends can say he brought joy into their lives like no other. Friends described him as having been a great friend to those he spoke with. Sotero was a hardworking man having worked 40 years up until his death, always ready to help.

He was preceded in death by his mother Angela Acuña; his sister, Monica Pardo; and daughter, Rosa Isela Zepeda.

Sotero is survived by his wife, Rosa Reyna Zepeda; his son, Luis Zepeda; his daughters, Nelly Medina and Jocelyn Zepeda; his brothers; his sisters; his dad, Santiago Zepeda; his eighteen grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
