Stanley Dale Foreman, Sr., age 69, of Waco, died Sunday, July 1, at a local hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at the Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Randy Hughes officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 3, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd (Across from the Heart of Texas Fair Grounds). A memorial video honoring his life will be shown during the visitation.
Stanley was born June 22, 1938 in Nocona, and lived in Waco most of his life. He was a yard supervisor for Gross Yowell Lumber where he has worked for 31 years.
He married Janice Hamilton on December 27, 1968 in Waco. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Viola Campbell Foreman; daughter, Lea Foreman; granddaughter, Emily Foreman; and six brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Foreman; two sons, Stanley Foreman, Jr. and wife, Mary-Ann, and George Foreman and wife, Amanda; daughter, Renee Sanders; grandchildren, Meagan Foreman, James Foreman, Erin Sanders, Amy Sanders, Rebeca Foreman, Shelby Foreman, Taylor Foreman, and Christopher Foreman, all of Waco; two brothers, Harold Foreman of Waco, and Dan Foreman and wife, Celia of Gholson; and three sisters, Pat Williams and husband, Bill of Waco, Betty Johnson of Mexia, and Virginia Travers of Houston.
The family gives a special thanks to the Providence Hospital ICU and the Waco Lung Associates.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Prybil, Harold Helpert, Joe Bruce, Ronnie Nieswanger, Ed Klish and Joe Rebrovich.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Foreman, Ronnie Wiese, and Chad Fillip.
