Sylvia Ann Sancillo Torres, 49 of Waco passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2007.

Graveside services will be 10 am Friday at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Joe Carbahal officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Sylvia was born June 6, 1958 to Ralph and Annie Sancillo. She attended Waco Schools and was a part of the fellowship of Mighty Wind Worship Center.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Albert and Michael Sancillo, sisters, Olivia Alejo, Yolanda and Margaret Sancillo.

Sylvia was a joy to be around, always thoughtful of others and loved and lived for her son and grandchildren. Her smile and laughter will always be missed but never forgotten.

Sylvia is survived by her husband, Rick Torres; son, Christopher Rodriquez and wife Angel; grandchildren, Christopher Jr, Noah, Deliliah and Samuel "King" Rodriquez; brothers, Ralph Sancillo and wife Wanda; George Sancillo; sisters, Christine Rodriquez and husband John, Esther Morales and husband Rudy and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.

Let us rejoice for God is great and mighty. Contributions may be made to her son, Christopher Rodriquez and family.
