Taurino Avila, 107, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2016. Funeral services will be 11 am Friday, January 15 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A visitation will be from 6 – 8 pm Thursday, January 14 with the rosary at 7 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Taurino was born August 11, 1908 in Mexico to Jose Avila and Feliciana Gomez Avila. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 2 sisters.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Lupe Avila Aviles nee Aviles; sons, David Avila Gomez and wife, Nicolasa, of Mexico, and Artemio Aguilar; daughters, Maria Avila, Herlinda Aguilar and Criserio Ruiz; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren
