Teresa Calderon

Teresa Calderon, 87, of Waco, passed away, Thursday, July 3, 2008 at her residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be recited by Father Lawrence Soler at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 2 p.m. Monday July 7. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mrs. Calderon was born in Riesel to Santos and Amalia Pena. She was a farm wife and loving mother. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Teresa is preceded in death by her husband, Adolpho Lopez Calderon; her parents; brother, John Pena; sister, Janie Rodriguez; and twin infant daughters. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalinda and husband, Pete Cervantez Jr.; granddaughter, Sandra Ann Cervantez; sisters, Monica Salazar and husband, Vincent Sr., Elena Garibay, Delores Martinez and husband, Ines, Francis Gonzales and husband, Carlos, Amelia Mohler and husband, Gary, and Gloria Martinez; brothers, Paul M. Pena, Santos Pena Jr., Roy Pena and wife, Toan, Joe Pena and wife, Elizabeth, Jesse Pena, Pablo Pena, and Steve Pena and wife, Mary; and many cousins, nephews and friends.
