Thelma Scarborough
April 4, 1924 to June 3, 2008
Thelma Scarborough, 84, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008.
Graveside services will be 10 am Friday at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev.
John Rambo officiating. Visitation will be 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday at OakCrest
Funeral Home. A memorial video of her life can be viewed at the visitation and service.
Mrs. Scarborough was born in Lorena to Charles A. Cooper and Carrie Hutchins
Cooper. She loved to bowl at Lake Air Lanes and enjoyed sewing and taking care of her family. She was a loving wife and mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Scarborough, and son, Stanley Scarborough.
Thelma is survived by three daughters Velvet A. Barton of Austin, Sandra Meier and husband Leo of Van Vieck, Tern Reeves and husband Robert of Waco, son Chuck Scarborough and wife Lucille of Waco; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Robert Reeves, Leo Meier, Latham Meier, Jacob Scarborough, Brad Ayers and Josh Comer.
