The Rev. Thomas O. Clark, 61, of Moody, died Friday, August 30, 2002. Services will be Friday at 10:00 AM in the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Floyd Richards and Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Dr. Paul Stripling will read a prayer. Burial will be in the Killeen City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Tom was born on December 14, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland to Steven and Ruth (Duncan) Clark. He was united in marriage to Marcella Jaggars on June 29, 1996 in Harker Heights, Texas. He attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore studying engineering, and attended Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky where he received a degree in music. He was a music minister for many Baptist Churches, and was retired from McLane Foods. Tom was presently serving as the present pastor of the Grace Temple Baptist Church in Waco, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella Clark of Moody; son, Thomas C. Clark and wife Shannon of Virginia; Brother, Robert Clark and wife Pauline of Catonsville, Maryland; sister, Audrey Clark of Hayes Virginia; 4 granddaughters; nephews, David, Steven and Bobby Clark; numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, cousins, friends, and many loved church families.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Matthews, Leonard Neumann, Bob Unger, Ben Bullard, Van Vowell, Lewis Vinzant, Olin Kornegay, W.D. Motley, Raymond Maxwell, Marvin Wheat, John Warren, John Morton and Ray Mills.
Memorials can be made to the Grace Temple Baptist Church Building Fund.
