Thomas Rose
Thomas A. Rose, 80, of Woodway passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. with Pastors Mike Toby and Jim Gray officiating.
Tom was born on March 2, 1925 in Morris, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII. He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University and received a Masters of Religious Education from Golden Gate Seminary. He was a minister of music and religious education in Baptist churches in California.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that will be missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his wife Ruby; children, Carey, Lisa, Leanne and David; nine grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and sister, Blanche Morris.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Woodway Building Fund, or charity of your choice.
