T.J.Hartpence 58,of Waco, died April 2, 2006 at his residence. Services will
be celebrated 2:00 p.m. Tuesday April 4, 2006 at OakCrest Funeral Capel with
Rev. Darrell Price. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 to 8:00 P.M. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
T. J. Hartpence was born Sept. 19,1947 in Ottawa, Kansas and was the son of
Harry Hartpence and Leota Clark. He married Annette in Clifton ,Texas in
1982. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He is a member of
Family Worship Center.
He will be remembered as a loyal Christian, who always helped those in
need. He will be missed by all who knew him. He had a special music ministery
that touched many lives.
Mr. Hartpence served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam prior to a medical
discharge. He was the Warehouse Manager of Olmstead Kirk Paper Company for 20 years. He was an active member of the Central Texas Doll Club and was the
Founder and President of the Texas Chapter of Doll Doctor's Association.
Mr. Hartpence was preceded in death by his father, Harry Hartpence, his
mother, Leota Clark, his brothers, Leonard Harrell, Dennis Hartpence and his
sister, Pam Hartpence.
He is survived by his wife, Annette of Waco. Daughters Cindi Black and
husband Jay and grandchildren Sierra and Ty Black of Byesville, Ohio; Kris
Fleskes and grandson David Fleskes of Kaufman, Texas; Lory LeBlanc and grandson Zachary LeBlanc of Galveston, Texas; Melissa Fleskes and grandsons Evin and Ryan Williams of Plano, Texas. Sister, Eilene Milam of Deport, Texas,
brothers Phillip Hartpence of Florida and Paul Hartpence of Kansas,
father-in-law and mother-in-law Robert and Jane Davenport of Laguna Park,
Texas, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Rob and Lisa Davenport of Denver,
Colorado.
Pallbearers will be employees of Olmstead-Kirk Paper Company.
