BIOGRAPHY
Tyrone Alan Smith, 45, our beloved Ty, went home to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 18, 2005 after a year-long, brave and valiant fight against pancreatic cancer.
He always made us laugh with his wit during this last year when all we wanted to do was cry. We will miss, among many things, his wit and his laughter.

THANKS
Ty's family is so grateful for the prayers and support from many during his last year, especially those brothers and sisters in Christ at the River Church, Speegleville Baptist and Burning Bush Baptist, and all the fishermen who took part in Ty's benefit tournament last year (these are a great bunch of men). Words cannot express our feeling for Ty's caregivers, Providence Hospice, especially Jennifer, the physicians in Waco who treated Ty and M.D. Anderson for what they tried to do for him.

For Ty
You're not forgotten tho you're gone
In your children you live on
Your loving hugs and bright smile
Still stay with me all the while
When you were young you were wild
And the bond we shared, like mother and child
Your life you changed and turned around
and look at the true love you finally found
Your arms went around me when we last met
The love that flowed from them I'll never forget
Your faith is God was oh so strong
And now you have finally gone home
I'll see you again I have no doubt
When from this world I'll be out
Memories of you go on and on
You're ever here, never gone
In my heart you'll ever be
Tho your face I can not see
Love forever, Aunt Yvonne
My beloved speaks and says to me,
Rise up, my love, my fair one,
And come away.
For, behold, the winter is past;
The rain is over and gone.
The flowers appear on the earth;
The time of the singing has come,
And the voice of the turtledove is
Heard in our land.
