Valerie Staley

Valerie “Tita” Staley, 89, of Waco passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 in a local care center. Graveside services will be at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, October 22, at Oakwood Cemetery with Bruce Mercer officiating .
Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, October 21, 2013 at Oakcrest Funeral Home.
Valerie was born May 2, 1924 in Erath to Tom and Treasure Ammeman Cannon. She married Steve Staley on June 20, 1959. She worked for General Tire, and later retired from Sears.
Valerie was preceded in death by parents, husband Steve and brothers, M.D.,Roger,Thomas, Wallace “Boy” Cannon.
