Vernon L. (Sonny) Edwards, 75, of Waco, passed away Tuesday at his residence.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. A memorial video of his life may be viewed during the service.
Sonny was born in Marlo, OK. to Johnny and Beulah Edwards. He was a retired industrial insulator. He was an avid fisherman and an extremely wonderful person.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Pat Gallagher of Waco; sons, Sonny and wife, Sherry of Kilgore, David and wife, Jan of Tatum, Mark of Henderson and Morgan of Kansas; grandchildren, Sonny Jr., Shaeley, Charlye, Mason, Shawn, Christy, Aaron, Mark, Tania, Matthew, and Braden; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
