Vicente Palacio Rodriguez, Jr.

Vicente Palacio Rodriguez, Jr., passed away on December 14, 2024 in Waco, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday, December 30, 2024 with Rosary at 6:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on December 31, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Rev. Benjamin Magnaye as Celebrant, burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.

Vicente was born in Waco, Texas on October 19, 1991, to Vicente Antonio Rodriguez Delgado and Juana Veronica Palacio Orona. He attended Waco schools and graduated from high school. He enjoyed his work in the construction industry. Vincente was loved and put a smile on the face of everyone he met. He loved to joke and kid around with his friends and was always a “heart stealer” as well. As a young teenager, he served with the young Marines and loved it. He will be truly missed. May you rest in Paradise.

He was preceded in death by his father, Vicente Antonio Rodriguez Delgado; grandfather, Juan Palacio; grandmother, Martha Rodriguez; aunt, Martha Rodriguez; and uncles, Francisco, Calo, and Saul Palacio.

Vicente is survived by his loving mother, Juana Palacio and step-father, Elias Cervantes; son, Antonio Rodriguez; brothers, Juan Rodriguez and wife, Alexandra and their children, Michael, Alexa, and Adrian, Francisco Rodriguez and wife, Alexandra and their daughters, Catalina and Isabella, and Christian Rodriguez; sister, Martha Cruz and husband, Oscar and their daughter Mariah Cruz; uncles, Gilberto Palacio, Rene Palacio, Jesus Palacio, and Pedro Palacio; aunts, Rosa Palacio, Olga Palacio, Elvira Rodriguez, and Clara Ramirez; grandfather, Vicente Rodriguez; and many cousins.

Pallbearers are: Juan Rodriguez, Gilberto Palacio, Oscar Lagunas, Michael Castillo, Ulises Cavazos, Terrell Landrum, Brandon Martinez, Rudy Rey Morales, and John Rivera.
