Vickie Elkins

Vickie Laine Elkins 61, of Waco, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017. A Memorial Service will be 12 Noon on December 30, 2017 at OakCrest Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronnie Holmes, officiating.

Vickie was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Donald and Ella Louise (Lopez) Minter, on November 6, 1956. She graduated from high school and worked in several fields until she found the right one for her; that is being a wonderful Mom and home maker. She married the love of her life, Charles Allen Elkins and that made her life complete.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Vicki is survived by her loving and devoted husband Charles Allen Elkins, daughters; Brittany Buckner and Merissa Davis and husband Jason; Son, Matthew Anderson; grandchildren, Cassie and Avery Davis, Dalton and Alyssa Porres, Bailee Buckner, Wyatt and Easton Rea; sister Sheryl Elkins and husband Darel; brother, Randy Minter and wife Claudia; 2 nieces, 2 nephews; and best friend and aide Gloria Adkins.
