Victor Porres, of Waco, died peacefully Sunday, September 11, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Deacon Jessie C. Garza officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Victor loved dancing, antiques, and travel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Isabelle.
He is survived by his wife, Katie; son, Victor J. Porres; three brothers, Tony, Robert, and Lupe; sisters, Virginia and Clemencia; grandson, Justin; and great-grandchildren, Dalton and Alisa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to M.D. Anderson Hospital, Houston.
