Novelle Baker Dockray, 90, of China Spring, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her son's residence in Lacy-Lakeview.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 4, at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Copeland officiating assisted by Dr. Randy Hughes.
Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Novelle was born August 30, 1919 in China Spring to R.B. (Dick) and Leora (Doll) Baker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of China Spring and for 37 years was employed at Owens Illinois Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Sam Baker and Wayne Baker; two sisters, Judy Hough and Margie Grantham, and the father of her two sons, Larvis G. Sanders.
She is survived by two sons, Dale Sanders and wife Joyce of Lacy-Lakeview, and Kyle Sanders and wife Shirley of Newport, Arkansas; grandchildren, Lisa Sanders of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Steve Sanders and wife Lisa of Hewitt, Lori Sanders of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Terri Midgett and husband Will of Waco, and Kyle W. Sanders and wife Shana of Jonesboro, Arkansas; ten great-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter, Elly; a step-great-great-granddaughter, Heidigrace; special brother-in-law, Ben Hough; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Steve Sanders, Jared Sanders, Jordan Sanders, Stan Hough, Will Midgett, and Kyle Wayne Sanders.
