Virginia Rodriguez

On Saturday, August 20, 2022, our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away at the age of 86.

Virginia Quintanilla Rodriguez was born on February 16, 1936, in Wharton, Texas to Luz Quintanilla. Married to Guadalupe Garcia Rodriguez for sixteen years and gave birth to eleven children. Virginia became a widow, after the passing of her husband in 2003. Virginia was a stay at home wife and mother for most of her life and shortly after continued on to raising many grandchildren.

A humble and social lady who cared for those she loved. Virginia was a kind but very straight forward woman. Virginia was an avid dancer and she sure did make a statement once she was on the dance floor. She was known for having a compassionate heart and giving more than she received.

Virginia was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Glafira. Virginia is survived by her children, Porfirio, Rosa, Celia, Esther, Valentina, Lucy, Guadalupe, Debra, Mary, Junior; many grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Rivera, Andrian Pendleton, Victor Aguilar, Christopher Gonzalez, Sr., Nicholas Gonzalez, Isaac Gonzalez, Ryan Gonzalez, Marcos Anaya, Jr., Julyan Rodriguez-Garcia, and Armando Ibarra, Jr.
