Virginia Sens

Virginia Donahue Sens, 90, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2003, at her home in Waco.
Virginia Donahue Sens was born December 31, 1912, in Jersey City, N.J. She was a long time resident of Beaumont, TX where she was a curt clerk for the late Judge Joe Fisher until her retirement in 1975. She moved to Waco with her late husband, Richard F. Sens Sr. in 1980 and has resided there ever since. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Egar Donahue and Frederick Donahue, of N.J., two brothers, Major Robert J. Donahue of T. Bliss Okalahoma, and Dr. George T. Donahue, of Potomac, Maryland, and two sisters, Mary Frances Hoplar of Pint Pleasant, NJ. and Margaret Krebs, of Riverside, N.J.
She is survived by on sister, Kay Haliday, of Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. and her daughter, Mary Frances Hurst of Waco, TX, son, Richard F. Sens, Jr., of Mauriceville, TX., two grandchildren, Mark Williams of Waco, and Kathleen Stanfield, of Dallas, TX., four great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Christina Williams of Waco, TX., and Mary and Sara Stanfield of Dallas, TX.
Virginia had many devoted nieces and nephews in Oklahoma, New Jersey, and Texas. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco, and a former member of St. Anne?s Catholic Church in Beaumont, TX. She was a member of St. Catherine?s circle at St. Louis.
Virginia was a devoted wife to her late husband Richard F. Sens, Sr., and a tremendous inspiration to all her family members through out her 90 years!
The family is especially grateful to her beloved grandson, Mark, and her wonderful granddaughter-in-law, Tammy Williams and her son, Shawn, who gave her such loving care in their home during her last days here on earth. She will make a wonderful angel!
