Vlasta (Bobbie) Westmoreland, 84, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away January 26, 2005 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2005, at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Madisonville with Father Michael Barone as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Madisonville Cemetery.
There will be no formal visitation, but local family and friends are invited to come by OakCrest Funeral Home and sign her guest book starting on Tuesday, February 1, through Friday, February 5.
She was born August 25, 1920 to Frank and Mary (Dobish) Hrozek in Cameron. She married Frank Westmoreland on October 4, 1942. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1981.
She was a member of St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church in Waco.
She is survived by her two children, son, Allan of Palestine, and daughter, Linda Sue, of Waco; her beloved grandsons, Darren and Carson Moore and wife, Tammy; her brother, Frank Hrozek, and sister, Bettye Marie Pomykal; her wonderful, kind and caring neighbor, Mary Davis who was always there for her; her special friends, Juanita Meece and Remona Kesel, and many others, all of whom she loved dearly.
Flowers may be sent to either OakCrest Funeral Home or to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 100 South Tammye Lane, Madisonville.
