Vonceil Smith, 72, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Providence Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, January 20, 2011 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Vonceil was born November 4, 1938 in Hill County to John H. Anderson and Lila Elizabeth Gregory Anderson. She married Edward R. Smith November 27, 1969 in Waco. She worked for Dunnam & Dunnam, L.L.P. as a Secretary. Vonceil and her late husband enjoyed bowling in Waco area leagues. She was devoted to her family whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lila Anderson; and her husband, Edward Smith.
Vonceil is survived by her father, John H. Anderson of Aquilla; sister, Beth Hudson of China Spring; sons, Bill Stefka and wife, Betty of Leroy and Keith Stefka of Axtell; grandsons, David Stefka and wife, Lynelle of Waco and Braxton Stefka of Axtell; and one great grandchild to be.
