Wanda Jean Campbell, 78 of Waco, passed away January 29, 2013. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, February 1 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd with the burial following at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, January 31, at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Wanda was born April 15, 1934 to Rollen and Laura (Ingram) Hobbs in Ft. Worth. After completing her education, Wanda soon married the love of her life, Lonnie Lee Campbell, in 1956. Wanda worked at Texas Coffin Co. for 25 years. Afterwards she went to work for the McLennan County Auditor's Office, where Wanda worked for another 14 years, before finally retiring in 1999. Throughout her years she always extolled that her greatest accomplishment was her family.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Lonnie Lee Campbell; parents, Rollen and Laura Hobbs; and brother, James Hobbs.

Wanda is survived by her children, Gary Campbell, Janice Gilman and husband, John, James Campbell; sister, Gayle Nunn and husband, Travis; brother, Rollon Hobbs; grandchildren, Malorey and Dalton Gilman, James and Shelby Campbell, and mother, Carol, and Jacob Campbell and mother, Dina; 2 great-grandsons, Cole and Layne; and many other relatives.

The family would like to thank Dr. Stern his staff, and the staff at Senior Care for the loving care you provided in Wanda's last few months.
