Wanda Joy Logan

Wanda Joy Logan, 70 of Waco went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday March 2, 2005 in a Temple hospital. Services will be 10 am Monday at the Victorious Life Church with the Rev. Vaughn Peak officiating. Graveside services will be 3pm Monday at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas. Viewing will start at 1 pm on Sunday. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 pm on Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.

Wanda was born on November 2, 1934 in Denison, Texas to parents Orville and Hazel Allen. She moved to Dallas at the age of five. There she met and married Leo Logan and was a faithful and devoted wife for over 50 years. She became the mother of two children whom she adored.

Wanda and Leo moved with their two children to Waco in 1978. In Waco, they attended Victorious Life Church where Wanda has been a dedicated servant in many areas of ministry and was surrounded by a loving church family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Hazel Allen and her younger sister Vicki Lynn.

Wanda will be remembered for being a faithful wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a dedicated servant of her Lord. She was a caring sister and a dear friend to all.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Leo Logan of Waco; son, Jeff Logan and wife Karmen; daughter, Tina Whisenant and husband Roger; brothers, Orville Allen Jr., and Donald Allen; sisters, Ann Glass and Nancy Jackson; grandsons, Charlie Jones, Alan Jones, Brandon Jones, Aaron Blakely, Austin Logan and Evan Logan; great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Jones; and a multitude of family and friends.
She was endlessly devoted to God, family, and friends. Wanda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
