Wayne Hensley

Wayne A. "Grandpa" Hensley, age 75, of Axtell passed away peacefully at his home Monday morning.

Wayne was born April 10, 1934 in Lakewood, Ohio to Amos Moses and Alvina (Young) Hensley. He served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division and worked for St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas for twenty years until he retired to Waco to be near his family.

Wayne loved to ride his Harley.

He is survived by his daughters, Cathy Cook of Canton, Ohio and Becky Lothlen and husband Jeff of Waco; Brother, Bud Hensley of Sandusky, Ohio; grandchildren, Holly McHargue and husband Bradley of Leroy, Texas, Michael Lothlen and wife Quintina of Waco, Christopher Cook and Caris Cook both of Ohio; seven great grandchildren and many great friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.
