Wayne Roy Neumann, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Waco VA Hospital.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the DFW National Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 - 7 p.m. Monday, April 11, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
We are here to celebrate the life of Roy Wayne Neumann who was born on September 16, 1949 in Marlin to his parents, Walker and Janie Neumann. He passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at the Waco VA Hospital.
He joined the United States Army in October 1969 at the age of 20 years old. He had his first child, a daughter named Tina in January 1971, and his second child, a son named James in May 1975.
Wayne was never afraid of hard work. He enjoyed working on big trucks and even bigger tractors.
He will be remembered as a stubborn but giving man, a man who was liked by many people and was always willing to do for others.
Wayne will be greatly missed by the many friends and family knew and loved him.
