William Davis
William Earl Davis, III, “Rusty”, 69, of Waco passed away August 4, 2015. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 10 am on Saturday, August 15 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Burial with military honors will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Rusty was born March 4, 1946 in Waco, Texas to William Earl, Jr. and Velma Lou (Lusk) Davis. In 1986, he retired from the United States Navy, in which he proudly served his country for 22 years.
Rusty was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Norma Lee Davis; daughter, Devona Lee Sledge; grandson, Justin Ryan Reyna; and brother-in-law, Max K. Noe.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, William Earl Davis, IV and Micheal Dean Davis and wife Veronica; grandchildren, Esme Elise Davis and Makenzie Lee Davis; sister, Janice Noe; and several nieces and nephews.
