William (Bill) Edward Mosley, 85, of Waco, died at his residence on Friday, August 31, 2007.

The service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, at the OakCrest Funeral Home with the Rev. David Shuttlesworth officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted by the Fidelis Lodge during the service. Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 3, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Bill was born March 18, 1922 in Hill County to Lee and Lois (Moseley) Mosley, and was reared in Elk, Axtell and Lorena. He married the former Wililia Guyton on February 17, 1951 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He retired as the shipping foreman with Krafcor/Bardcor Corporation after 30 years of service.

He was Past Master of Fidelis Masonic Lodge 1127; member of Karem Shrine and past president of Karem Shrine Clowns and the Past Masters Association of Karem Shrine; past patron of Walter Baldwin Chapter 929 of Order of Eastern Star; and a member of York Rite and Scottish Rite Bodies, and the Park Lake Drive Baptist Church.

Because of his faithful dedication to these organizations, his family fondly remembers him as a man of many hats. These included his Shiner fez, Karem Clown derby, Shriner's Hillbilly hat, and of course, his trademark Stetson which he wore everywhere he went.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilila Guyton Mosley, on March 21 of this year; his parents; sisters, Tommie Ruth Copeland, Mary Jo Sustala, and Alyene Baisden; brother, Wendell Boyce Mosley, and a grandson, B.J. Jenson.

He is survived by three sons, Richard Mosley and wife, Glenda, Wendell Mosley and wife, Linda, and William (Bill) Mosley and wife, Teresa; daughter, Paula Mosley Jenson and husband, Steve; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Claude Ervin, Greg Gillenwater, Bob Westwood, Brooks Gunn, Doug Smith, and Frank Weyant. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Fidelis Masonic Lodge 1127.

The family especially thanks Hillcrest Hospice and all his health caregivers.
