William “Billy” Petty
December 26, 1957 – October 29, 2014

William “Billy” E. Petty, 56, of Mcgregor passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, November 1, 2014 at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Rieff officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2014, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

William E. Petty was born December 26, 1957 to William Walter and Ollie Wetzel Petty in Waco, TX. He attended school at A.J. Moore Academy. William married the love of his life, Carla Fogle. He was a successful Paint Contractor for many years in Waco and the surrounding areas. William enjoyed fishing, camping, riding horses, and collecting antiques. Most of all he loved his grandkids, often teaching them all about nature and all that he could about history. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Rose Marie Petty.

He is survived by his loving wife , Carla Fogle Petty; daughter, Debbra Keating; granddaughter, Mackenzie Keating, grandson, Chase Keating; sisters, Shirley Miller, Gloria Moran and husband, David, Nancy Guenat and husband, Kenneth; and a host of nieces and nephews.
