Ms. Raburn was born April 7, 1924 in Mt. Calm to Willis Charles Raburn and Vera Estelle Ramage.
Though legally blind from the age of 6, Wilma never let that get the best of her and lived a full life. She at one time ran a coffee shop on the Air Force base in San Antonio and stayed very busy over the years working different odd jobs. After retirement, she began to volunteer at the EOAC for more than 10 years. She made lifelong friends along the way and was always regarded as a wonderful kind woman. She was a strong woman who helped anyone she could from family, friends and to a complete stranger when needed. She enjoyed life to the fullest and stayed busy with her hobbies, organ playing, making ceramics and sequin Christmas ornaments. She also loved watching "The Lawrence Welk Show". Wilma was a Christian woman who loved God and let everyone know about it. She was a steady constant in the lives of her loved ones and made a deep impact on her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews keeping them often through the years, including a very special relationship as a Meeme that will forever be a reminder of what kind of woman she was.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Connally Raburn, her twin brother, Bill Raburn and Bob Raburn; and sisters, Rita McElroy, Dorothy Moyer and Judy Moorehouse.
She is survived by her brother, Clifford Raburn; sister, Verna Mae Jennings and Kathleen Lewis; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who she had a hand in touching their lives in one way or another.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Tickell, Roy Jennings, Donald Jennings, James Lewis, Paul Raburn and John McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark McElroy, Charles McElroy and James Bond.
