W. L. "Andy" Anderson, 91, passed away Saturday, June 12,2010. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16,2010 at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ernie Christie officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mr. Anderson was born August 23, 1918 in Mertens, TX to William Jefferson Anderson and Sarah Ethel Carroll Anderson. He was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ. He was the owner of Anderson Motor Transport.
Mr. Anderson was a WWII Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, W. L. "Rip" Anderson; 4 brothers; and a sister.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his wife, Ann; daughters, Annette Brown and Darlene Logan and husband, Bill; son, Weldon Lowell Anderson; sisters, Peggy Dollins and husband, Charles and Mary Ann Christian Weatherby and husband, James; brothers, Danny Anderson and wife, Joanna, Billy Anderson and wife, Jackie and Wendell Anderson; 9 grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.
