Xander Christopher Westmoreland
March 20, 2009

Xander was born Friday, March 20, 2009 to proud parents, David Christopher Westmoreland and wife Lindsay Jane Moreno Westmoreland of Penelope.

Xander was due for delivery July 22, 2009 and was long awaited by his parents and three beautiful sisters Amber, Courtney and Erin Faith.

Born four months premature, Xander gave his all but was carried away to heaven by our Lord above.

Between his last few breaths, Father Baby George of the Nativity Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Penelope was with Xander and baptized him as he was called home.

Although Xander was here only a few moments, his memory will live with us forever. Xander, our angel from above, you will always be loved and will be missed forever. Your entire family will miss you until we are all united in God's kingdom.

A rosary for Xander will be said at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. in Waco.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, March 23, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Father Baby George officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery outside Penelope on FM 2114.

Xander was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Peter Bustos; paternal great-grandfather, Ben Ondrey, and great-grandmother, Ruth Westmoreland.

Xander is survived by his parents, David and Lindsay Westmoreland of Penelope; sisters, Amber Lin, Courtney Lane and Erin Faith; grandparents, Juan and Betty Moreno of Penelope, Deborah Westmoreland of Malone and Tommy Westmoreland of Mesquite; great-grandparents, Perfecto and Emilia Moreno and Nellie Ondrey, all of Penelope and Pauline Bustos of Weatherford, and J. T. (Peavine) Westmoreland and wife, Claudia of Mabank.

Pallbearers will be Jason Westmoreland, Tim Westmoreland, Sean Moreno, and Jonathan Moreno. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Bow, Sean Bow, Matthew Bow and their father, David Bow, Timmy Westmoreland, and the entire staff at the Lacy Lakeview Police Department.
