Yandall Goodwin

Yandall Dennis Goodwin, 64, of Waco, went to be with the Lord Monday, December 3, 2007 at home with his family by his side.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7th at Victorious Life Fellowship, 7459 S IH 35, Robinson. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park.

Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Thursday, Dec. 6, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Yandall was born in Waco, TX, March 9, 1943 to Joe Ted Goodwin and Thelma May Clampitt. Yandall married the love of his life, Eve, on February, 20th 1965.

He retired from Lehigh Cement after 42 years of service and was loved by all who knew him.

Yandall served the Lord faithfully throughout his life and was a testament of faith to his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brother Joe Goodwin and brother Billy Goodwin.

He is survived by his wife, Eve Goodwin, two sons Brian Goodwin and wife Cassie Oklahoma, Duwane Goodwin and wife Carmela New Mexico, two brothers Horace Lee and wife Jeanne of Robinson, Jack Goodwin and wife Violet of Waco, and sister Betty Barns of Waco.

He is also survived by four loving grandsons: Anthony, Joshua, Dillon and Dalton who dearly loved their "Poppy".

The family would like to extend thanks to Vista Care and special thanks to Bobby, Sheila and Lisa for their loving care.
