Yeulalo Martin Mauldin
March 30, 1923 - January 25, 2012
Yeulalo Mauldin, 88, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Providence Health Center surrounded by her loving family. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Waco Memorial Park. Friends are invited to join the family at her grandson's home at 300 North Old Robinson Road after the graveside service. Visitation with her family will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Yeulalo was born March 30, 1923 in Coahoma, Texas to Daniel Augustus Martin and Mary Elizabeth Birkhead Martin. She married J. L. Enloe in 1940 and they moved to Waco in 1961. J. L. passed away in 1981. Yeulalo married Howard F. Mauldin in 1993 and they went on to spend many happy years together traveling and enjoying time with family and friends. Howard passed away September 22, 2010.
Yeulalo took her job as Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma very seriously and valued each and every one of her family members as the precious gifts she considered them to be. She was never one to sit idle. She filled he time and home with an extensive network of family and friends. As recently as this past Christmas, she and 33 family members went on a holiday cruise. Her family will forever cherish that time spent together.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, J. L. Enloe; her second husband, Jay Shaw; her daughter, Sharon Neighbors; her grandson, Jeff Obenoskey and her late husband, Howard F. Mauldin.
Yeulalo is survived by her daughter, Mary Obenoskey and husband, Buddy; grandsons, Darren Obenoskey and wife, Laura, Craig Obenoskey and wife, Kim, Brent Neighbors and wife, Lori, Todd Neighbors and fiancé, Susan Ballinger; granddaughter, Jana Obenoskey and partner, Michelle LaRocque; great grandchildren, Tori Butler and husband, Steve, Jill Obenoskey, Mason Obenoskey, Kristen Kroll and fiancé, Sam Elizondo, Abigail Northen and husband, Rance, Daniel Obenoskey and partner, Jelena Sudar, Aaron Obenoskey, Jay Obenoskey, Jon Obenoskey, Zach Neighbors, Jake Neighbors, Ben Neighbors, Taylor Neighbors and Kennedy Neighbors; and great great grandchildren, Aiden Butler and Rylan Northern.
Her great grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
