Zena was born on May 18, 1926 in Chilton, Texas to Fred and Annie Tull and grew up in and around the Lorena – Waco area. On January 10, 1952, Zena married Robert (Bob) Greaser whom she met while he was stationed at James Connally A.F.B. Bob served in the Air Force for 25 years during which time Zena, Bob and their two children lived in Texas, Florida, Louisiana, Colorado, Alaska and Germany. Zena dearly loved her “Air Force life” of traveling, meeting new people, and working with various service organizations. While in Alaska she attended cosmetology school and worked in the field for 30 plus years. Upon returning to Waco with Bob, she enjoyed fishing, camping, flower gardening, cooking, activities with other wives in the Knights of Columbus and volunteering at Providence Hospital in the ICU and the Open Heart program. For the past 7 years she loved singing with and for her fellow residents on Neighborhood 4.

Zena was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Afton Tull, Bill Tull, Thomas Tull, and L.D. Tull; sisters, Margaret DeLuca, Pauline Lazzaro, Louise Phillips, Ruby Tull, and Betty Jean Bethke.

She is survived by daughter, Debbie Kucera; son, Robert “Bob” Greaser and wife, Jane; four granddaughters, Leslie Sims, Dawn McCauley, Robin Dooley, and Katy Greaser; five great grandsons, Sean and Shane McCauley, Nolan and Reid Sims and Nash Dooley; a sister, Mildred Airehart; a brother, Paul Tull; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the loving care provided by all of the Neighborhood 4 staff at St. Catherine’s Center to include the nursing and numerous support staffs. For seven years you have supported and loved our mother and we feel most fortunate to have had her in your care.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial gifts be made to the Providence Long Term Care Endowment Fund at the Providence Foundation.
