Obituary for Ernest Allen West

Ernest A. West, 84, of Waco passed away on August 4, 2015. Services will be held Wednesday, August 12 at 11:00 am at Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit with Rev. Jason Ingalls officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. There will be no visitation.

Ernest was born December 29, 1930 in McLennan County, Texas to the late Arthur C. and Lynn (Hansen) West. He served in the United States Air Force in Korea and after his military service, attended and graduated from Baylor University. He went on to become credit manager with Dealer’s Electrical Supply Co., from whom he retired.

Ernest is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Carol; daughter, Carrie M. Brinegar and her children, Colton and Skylar; son, Michael A. West and wife Heather and their children, Samantha and Cara of Walla Walla, Washington; twin brother, Everett W. West and wife Wanda of Waco; two nephews and a niece.

In lieu of floral arrangements, memorial gifts in Ernest’s name may be made to Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 1624 Wooded Acres, Waco, Texas 76710.
