Kathy Haralson
Nov. 6, 1940 – Jan. 1, 2016

Rosemary “Kathy” Haralson, 75, of Waco, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 at Providence Hospice Place. A Celebration of Kathy’s Life will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, Jan. 5 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. She will be laid to rest at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Monday, Jan. 4 at the funeral home.

Kathy was born November 6, 1940 in Waco, Texas. She graduated from Waco High School. She had a long career in civil service beginning at Connally Air Force Base. She also worked at the VA Regional Office and then for many years at the VA Hospital as an agent cashier. She retired after 40 years of service. Kathy loved helping the patients at the VA and would always go the extra mile for them.

Kathy also enjoyed reading, watching movies and doting over her pets.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her extended family, Rhonda Barron, Jennifer Coffee, Jason Coffee, Dakota Coffee, Montana Coffee and numerous other loved “framily” members.

A special thank you to all the staff that took such good care of Kathy at Providence Hospital, St. Catherine's Rehab, PT and OT, and Providence Hospice Place. Without them we wouldn't have made it.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathy’s name may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue or to Providence Hospice.
