Tommy Ray Davis, 48, of Moody, Texas passed away, January 10, 2017. Funeral services will 1:30 pm Friday, January 13, 2017 at Faith Temple Baptist Church, with Rev. Marvin Donnell officiating. Visitation will be 6 pm to 8 pm Thursday January 12, 2017 at the church. Church address is 1197 Old Lorena Road.

Mr. Davis was born in Waco, Texas on September, 25, 1968 to Levi and Ella (Johnson) Davis. He graduated from high school and went into the construction business as an equipment operator. His passion was hunting, fishing and cooking. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Tommy was the kind of man who saw the good in everybody and was always and at any time ready to help in any way he could.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Richard Edward Dawson; sisters, Mary, Carol Ann and Donna Marie; brothers, Alfred and Chester.

He is survived by his loving family, daughter, Courtney Leigh Davis; sister, Nancy Alexander and husband Tommy; brothers, Alvin Davis, Jimmy Davis and wife Kim, and Jack Dawson and wife Stacey; step-brother, Rusty Dawson and wife Vicki; step-sisters, Sharon Chavez and husband Larry, and Sandy Buro, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers are; Toby Coulter, Wayne Mays, Joe Carnaghi, and Levi Davis.

Active Pallbearers are: Justin Davis, Zach Brooks, Craig Coulter, Mike Koenig, Joe Davis and Zackary Dawson.

The family wished to express their profound appreciation to Interim HealthCare for their excellent car and to Carmen Mayes for her loving support.
